Vanessa Almeida

Vice President of People & Culture

Based in our Phoenix, AZ, global headquarters, Vanessa serves as Bristol’s Vice President of People & Culture. Vanessa joined Bristol in 2007. 

Vanessa leads Bristol’s human resources, recruiting and staffing, training and development, employee engagement, benefits and compensation, corporate sustainability, legal regulations and best practices, and community outreach functions. She also ensures that Bristol remains an equal opportunity employer and that our hiring and retention practices focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion.

As Bristol's head of human resources, Vanessa takes ownership and accountability for people strategy across our global offices. She has been instrumental in developing and nurturing of Bristol’s proactive, inspired, and meaningful company culture.

Prior to entering the HR field, Vanessa worked in Research and Development at Unilever, an experience she continues to benefit from. While at Unilever, Vanessa managed a large team and was involved in company culture and people initiatives, which led to her love of human resources.

Vanessa is a member of the Society for Human Resources Management, World at Work, Recognition Professionals International, and the Human Capital Institute.
